BCMA is involved with clinical trials at Doylestown hospital with agents that might quell the cytokine storm in severe Covid-19 infection and trials with the use of antibodies to help mild to moderate outpatient Covid-19 infected patients. We continuously strive to provide state of the art up to date diagnostics and therapeutics for our community.

Appointments
To schedule a pulmonary or sleep appointment-call (215) 348-1310 select option 2
Patients seen at the Doylestown Hospital by one of BCMA doctors but haven't been seen at our office and/or patients not seen in office over 3 years need to be re-established as New Patients.
Cancellation/No show Policy
Please call us within 48 hours if you must cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations and no shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
For New Patients to Our Practice
• DO NOT take Albuterol (ventolin, proair, proventil) or Maxair 4 hours before testing unless you are experiencing
difficulty breathing
• DO NOT take Combivent, DuoNeb, Atrovent, or Xopenex 4 hours before testing unless you are experiencing
difficulty breathing
• DO NOT take Advair, Symbicort, Dulera, Brovana, Perforomist, Servent, Foradil, Singulair, Tudorza, Breo, Anoro,
Trelegy, Breztri, Bevespi or Spiriva 4 Hours before testing unless you are experiencing difficulty breathing
• Limit caffeine on the day of testing (morning coffee/tea is permitted)
For Established Patients
• On the day of the test take all of your normal prescribed medicines
• Coffee or Tea are permitted on the day of the test
Sleep Consultation Patients
- Current CPAP users, please bring your data chip
- Not a CPAP users but have a sleep study in past, please bring that report(s)
- Not a CPAP user, do not not have a sleep study, a new test will be arranged
Insurance
Bucks County Medical Associate accepts Medicare and most insurances. Due to possible changes in insurance plans, please verify coverage, referral requirement
